1. No-storage principle

PaperFraud Detector's core commitment: the data you paste for screening is processed in your browser, never uploaded to a server, never saved. Our detection algorithms run in your browser; your data never leaves your device.

2. Optional cloud features (signed-in users only)

If you explicitly choose to save a screening to cloud history or create a share link, that specific result is stored so the feature can work. Share pages are noindex (not indexed by search engines). Free-tier share links expire after 7 days; Pro links can be permanent. Cloud saves are strictly opt-in — anonymous users have no data on our servers at all.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data (page views, button clicks) to improve the product. We do not recordthe content you paste or your screening results.

4. Cookies

We use essential session cookies (for signed-in users) and analytics cookies. EU users may decline non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner.

5. GDPR / CCPA

Because we do not store your pasted data, there is in practice no personal data of yours to access or delete beyond your account record (email, display name) if you sign in. Contact us with any questions.
